The Board of Directors of Okaz Organization for Press and Publication met on Thursday morning under the chairmanship of Dr. Sa'ed Al-Orabi Al-Harithi, Chairman of the Board. The Board discussed the third quarterly report on the current state of the organization and its publications, and its achievements in upgrading its work to match its ambitions and keep pace with developments. The Board studied the fiscal report for the period 1/1/2008 to 30/9/2008 which included indications of positive income growth and continuing strides toward comprehensive development. Members of the Board praised the accomplishments of the organization and called for further efforts to achieve progress and development. The Board welcomed the appointment of Muhammad Al-Tunisi, who took over as Okaz newspaper Editor-in-Chief. The meeting was attended by: Dr. Waleed Arab Hashim, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors; Board members Dr. Hamoud Al-Badr, Abdul Lateef Al-Jabr, Abdullah Khayyat, Abdullah Kamel, Hussein Shubukshi, and Dr. Tariq Fad'aq, and Waleed Kattan, Director General of the organization. Meanwhile, Ahmed Bin Sulaiman Al-Battah, Secretary of the Board of Directors observed the meeting.
