Published in The Saudi Gazette on 21 - 11 - 2008

The Wave, Muscat, Oman's premier freehold integrated tourism development announced that registrations are now open for the purchase of apartments within the Lasail East and West and Lasail Marina sectors, as well as beach park villas within Sector 5.
Nick Smith , CEO, The Wave, Muscat, said “the registration for this sales launch at The Wave, Muscat has now commenced. The process for our overseas customers to choose their home at our development has been made very easy and provides them with an equal opportunity to purchase a home at Oman's premier freehold development.”
“Purchasers can register to purchase a maximum of 3 properties this time, 1 Villa and 2 apartments,” he added.
The Wave, Muscat is the first freehold development of-its-kind in Oman and has helped turn Oman into a dynamic “hotspot” in the Middle East.
The Wave, Muscat is a $2.5 billion mixed-use project built over an area of 2.2 million square meters along six kilometers of natural beach in Muscat. It will offer over 4,000 residential units (apartments, villas and town houses), a signature Greg Norman 18 holes Links Golf Course, a 300-berth marina, three luxury 5-star hotels, in addition to retail outlets and restaurants.
Apartments are situated within the vibrant ambience of the charming Marina Village area, in the heart of the community, which promises to be the liveliest and most happening area at The Wave, Muscat. The homes in this locality enjoy marina and sea views and are surrounded by an abundance of shops and restaurants offering an alfresco dining experience.
Villas in Sector 5 and Beach Park Villas, as well as apartments in the Lasail East and West and Lasail Marina neighborhood are all located within walking distance from the natural each at The Wave, Muscat. They have generous patio spaces and stylish finishes. Apartments have designated underground parking and a private landscaped courtyard.
Since its first sales launch in February 2006, the development has launched nine phases and has sold over 800 properties so far.
Overseas customers can register by submitting scanned identification documentation and transfer the registration deposit to The Wave, Muscat holding account. Overseas customers, or an authorized representative, must be present to complete the purchase at the selection time. Those interested can register at The Wave, Muscat Sales Center until Nov. 28.
