SAUDI Telecom Company (STC) signed a new agreement with LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network with more than 313 million members. This agreement enhances an existing relationship between the two entities that aimed to strengthen STC's marketing and recruitment efforts. STC utilizes LinkedIn to increase followers on the platform and foster interaction with this affluent, influential, and educated audience, as well as direct traffic to the STC website. The agreement will provide a platform to strengthen STC's position as a desirable employment destination, identify exceptional talent for the company, and capitalize on LinkedIn's marketing solutions to strengthen STC's brand as a service provider. Over 8,500 STC staff members have joined LinkedIn and STC's LinkedIn page has over 61,000 followers. At the signing of the agreement, Amjad Shacker, STC General Manager for Corporate Communication, said “significant advances in the development of the digital world and exponential usage of computers and smartphones has successfully increased and multiplied STC's social media presence.” Shacker praised the partnership with LinkedIn and its contribution to building a quality workforce for STC.
