The Ministry of Haj website for the local pilgrims is now operational. The website in Arabic www.localhajj.info lists all the companies which are authorized to provide Haj services to local pilgrims. The database lists over 240 companies along with their telephone numbers, city of operation and other relevant information. The website details ways to get Haj permits, rules and regulations for performing Haj and guidelines for actions to take in emergency situations at the holy sites. Maps of various locations in the holy sites are also available on the website. The last date for obtaining Haj permits from the Passport Department is Nov. 27.
