HILTON Hotels Dubai has refurbished two computer labs at the National Charity School in Garhoud in continuous efforts to reach out, connect and serve the local community. Hilton Hotels Dubai have formed an action team of employees and department heads led by Cluster General Manager Andreas Searty in order to improve the school's facilities and to nurture student achievements. "The aim of this team will be to contribute to a better future for the local community and education," said Andreas. "This initiative is part of our goal to serve the community of Dubai." More than 150 employees have recently participated in refurbishing the computer labs by providing new devices along with maintaining student's desks, repair and paint furniture and facilities at the school. Hilton has always strived to have a long standing and positive influence on the communities where it operates, and the people it employs and serves around the world. The Global Week of Service is an expression of the company's vision to “fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality,” and build on Conrad Hilton's legacy of serving others. Participating in such initiatives give team members the opportunity to extend their spirit of hospitality to individuals and communities beyond the hotel walls. This kind initiative was sponsored by two of our main suppliers Hassan Shaker and Al Hasanat Trading, who supported us with the necessary materials for a better future of the community. Hilton Hotels Dubai efforts are a part of Hilton Worldwide's week-long annual celebration of the company's commitment to serving and enriching the communities where we live, work and travel. This year, Hilton Worldwide participated in more than 3,000 hands-on service projects globally. — SG
