Cisco, Tamkeen in strategic partnership

CISCO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tamkeen Technologies. Actively involved in delivering Information Technology services, Tamkeen Technologies will be primarily focused on aligning its ICT strategy objectives with Cisco Group's advanced technologies. Working closely with Cisco, Tamkeen Technologies' goal is to leverage strategic partnerships to focus on building ICT skills and talent locally as well as and adopt specialist technology capabilities.
Tamkeen was established in partnership between Takamol Company for holding business services and Human Resources Development Fund in order to enable it to work as the IT service provider for different government entities in the Kingdom. The company is embracing cloud services not only to achieve cost savings, but even more importantly, to support business agility and achieve significant benefits. Within the MoU framework under Cisco and Tamkeen Technologies will identify business and productivity enablers to help achieve their joint goal of delivering the latest technology solutions including Cloud services and solutions to different government entities in the kingdom to help streamline efficiencies and reduce operational costs. Tamkeen Technologies will work with Cisco to help build ICT skills and talent by creating and Internship program for its employees. Candidates will gain privileged access to Cisco Business Groups for regular technology updates focused on technology architectures in the Information Technology field.

Furthermore, the Saudi government is already making a significant investment and effort not only to improve IT literacy in the Kingdom but also to encourage investment in ICT and development of skills for Saudi talents. We are committed to support job creation by building ICT skills and talent as well as creating the opportunities to use those skills and our Internship Program will be a great start towards achieving this goal,” said CEO at Tamkeen Technologies Ayman Abo Abah.
