Ed Sardina and Hero Garcia showed fine form by posting separate series of 662 and 617 points to help Sarawat Superstore collect 34 points and occupy the number one spot in the 2nd week of the Jeddah Thursday Bowling League (third Season) at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center. The league is sponsored by Sarawat Superstore and organized by Igna Salgado. Sardina had on lines of 218, 22 and 218 while Garcia rolled 211, 180 and 223 to topscore in Sarawat Superstore. Also in the limelight were Archie Santos, Eddie Tuico, Igna Salgado and Gerry Mandanas. Santos and Tuico poured 561 and 558 points respectively while Salgado and Mandanas had 551 and 511. Stealing the show also were the keglers of the Mixed Nuts who bagged the Team of the Week award by snatching 35 points. Lja Laderas and Yasser Hokbi fired 624 and 608 to power Mixed Nuts. Ray Thompson and Laver Laderas rolled a big round by scoreing 595 and 587 while fellow Arnod Biblanas and Ver Jasa contributed 571 and 460. Veteran Ray Beltran burned the lanes to help Cosma Kabbani register 29 points. Beltran exploded a three-game series 636 on lines of 215, 205 and 191. Tommy de castro excelled by posting 603 points while Ruben Grino, Pancho Cuevas andNick Gozun and Donjie Manalansan sealed 555, 551, 542 and 521 points in that order. A total of 25.5 points were posted by the A.F. Al-Dossary through Jhun Bacolod (595), Ruel Santoc (585), Bonnie Garcia (580), Cesar Monares (556) and Chris Cordeta (542). Joel Nidoy sparkled to lift Luvenor to 22 points. Nidoy shot a three-game series of 600. Next best came from the flying Ed “darna” Cordova (593). He was followed by Larry Doming (567), Jack Jarin (555) and Danny Franciso (529). Nards Hassan downed 474 points. Ball Mixer snatched 18 points and saw Mark Hernandez fly high by posting 632 points. Nap Patayan sealed 577 points while Ladio Gonzales and Obie Ycasas garnered 548 and 540. Nanding Siasoco and Leo Edejer scored 513 and 489. Cool Change Reload registered 17.5 points and at the centerstage was Mar Cabrera with 624 points (167, 244, 201). Hataw III, through the unstoppable Alex Flora, produced 15 points. Flora rocked the lanes to submit 617 points. Bulak “Bowl” went home with 15 points and at the helm was Hadi Pacheco with 581 points. A total of 9 points were collected by the RSP Pwede Pa Kami through Rene San Pedro (557). __
