Mottawer Group remained almost perfect with Shams Kamfar at the helm as the Al-Mottawer posted a towering 42 points in the 5th week of the Jeddah Manday Bowling League being staged at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center.
The league is being held in cooperation with Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center.
Shams, a Class B player, scored 205 in the first game and increased his output in the second game to roll a game high of 276 and another 200 in the last game. With 8 handicaps per game he posted a three-game series of 705. Compatriot Waheeb Kamfar also excelled by tallying 695 points on lines of 264, 173 and 246. Mohammad Garoot tallied a series of 617 while Zaki Yassen and Ahmed Trigano impressed by contributing separate series of 590 and 589 points respectively.
Blue Shark team keglers produced 38 points through the excellent game of Hassan Halwani who posting a series of 704 (255, 204, 203). Next best came from Faris Mohammad with 643 points. Amro Al-Amri followed him by pouring 597 points. Nabel Omar had 582 points. Sultan Al-Harbi and Yousof Al-Juhani chipped in 544 and 534.
Zaldy Bacero and Jess Pineda combination helped the International to post 33 points by posting separate series of 629 and 621. Rene Martinez submitted 587 points while Pancho Cuevas, Verasak Di and Eddie Tuico registered 556, 539 and 494.
Inserts Amigo ammassed 28 points through the fiery performance of Randy Mata who exploded 625 points (223, 216, 186). Danny Bautista and Rudy Punzalan seared lanes by rolling 597 and 579. Alex Flora downed 560 points while Noeh Leysa and Vic Santos garnered 55 and 547.
Kamikazee Canon Balls stole 26 points through Arnold SAntoc (598), Ernie Pilapil (592), Hadi Pacheco (578), Manny Tibay (574) and Jack Jarin (518).
Kanny Powder Milk snatched 25 points and at the helm was Nap Patayan with 603 points. Tommy de Castro downed 593 points while Raul delos Reyes and Manny Laguardia sealed 566 and 559. Rey del Rosario and Ed “darna” Cordova had 543 and 512.
Mark Hernandez and Nonie Yap toppled 588 and 587 points to help the Insektos make 21 points. Zaldy Parinas, Ladio Gonzales and Mao Orolfo hit 561, 556 and 538.
League leader Luvenor burned lanes to produce 19 points and topscoring was Val Magsino with 624 points (222, 168, 234). L-Jaj Lavern excelled too by posting 617 points while Roger Daquioag and Adrian Abrenica scored 567 and 521. Leo Pangilinan and Nards Hassan added 501 and 490.
Expeditors and Shawly Strikers collected separate 15 and 11 points respectively. Leading scorers in the Expeditors were Goying Salazar (614), Mio Centeno (564), Rey Beltran (541), Leo Edejer (539) and Gerry Mandanas (523).
At the forefront in Shawly Strikers was the unstoppable Ruel Perez. He exploded a towering 686 series in three games on lines of 235, 226 and 171. Next to him having the best score was Nelson Hofer (542). Andy David downed 524 points while Hani Dawood, Chris Tamon and Max Salang chipped in 486, 482 and 475.
Bowling City recorded 6 points and on top was Igna Salgado with 607 points. Rudy Valenzuela and Oca Bernabe sealed 566 and 539 while Rally Zamora and Cris Villavelez carded 495 and 481.
