ABHA — A fire broke out on Monday in the agricultural terraces of Ablah village, north of Abha, and covered a 40,000 square meter area of trees and bushes. Spokesman for Asir Civil Defense, Col. Mohammed Al-Asmi, said firefighters managed to stop the fire from spreading. He added some municipality equipment was used to support the firefighters, who were eventually successful in extinguishing the fire. He said no injuries were reported, while investigations are still under way to determine the cause of the fire.
