Woman, baby rescued from fire

A 20-year-old woman and her baby were rescued from a fire in Dammam's Mahasin District. The woman and baby reportedly fled to the roof of a building after the fire engulfed the interior of their home. Firefighting and rescue teams from Al-Mubarraz and Al-Hofouf arrived at the scene within minutes and rescued the pair with ladders and winches. Lt. Col. Mansour Al-Dossari, Civil Defense spokesperson in the Eastern Province, said three firefighting teams managed to bring the fire under control. – Okaz/SG __
