Sid Sagum, Noe Leysa and Alex Flora rolled a big round to power Hataw-III team to the Team of the Week by posting 36 points during the opening day of the Jeddah Thursday Bowling League being held at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center. The league is sponsored by Sarawat Superstores and organized by Igna Salgado. Sagum posted 697 series in three games and had on lines of 228, 211 and 213 to topscore in Hataw-III. Leysa and Flora came next by tallying a separate series of 670 and 616 points respectively. Leysa had a game high of 243 while Flora scored a game high 224. Willy Ansis shot 547 points while Ernie Geslani poured 514 and Eugen Delfin had 430. Sarawat Superstores snatched 34 points to share bowling limelight with Hataw-III and at the forefront were Archie Santos and Gerry Mandanas. Santos and Mandanas fired a three-game series of 664 and 656. Santos had on lines of 211, 173 and 235 while Mandanas downed 223, 227 and 179. Ed Sardina delighted by posting 580 points while Hero Garcia, Igna Salgado and Rudy Valenzuela contributed separate series of 579, 527 and 525. A total of 33 points were registered by the RSP-Pwede Pa Kami and at the helm was Sammy Ocampo with 619 points. Atoi Cruz sealed 598 points. Sid Lapena hit 595 points while Rod Morales and Luis Luna registered 585 and 550. Bulak Bowl through the heroics of Carl Alvarado, Bher del Rosario, Joe Horvidalla and Hadi Pacheco sealed 26 points. At the centerstage was Alvarado with 621 points and he was followed by Del Rosario (594), Horvidalla (590), Pacheco (574), Gary Misa (548) and Abet Dorado (522). Chris Cordeta and Ljay Laderas lifted A.F Al-Dossary to post 23 points by posting separate series of 611 and 606. Bonnie Garcia excelled by knocking down 589 points. Cesar Monares, Oca Bernabe and Arnold Santoc shot 557, 524 and 514. Cosma Kabbani submitted 21 points and saw Ruben Grino and Jojie Manalansan dazzled to score 593 and 590 points. Danny Pamintuan poured 569 points while Rey Beltran had 528 points. Jess Cerbito chipped in 507 points. In another fashion, Luvenor posted 18 points through the fine form of Larry Domingo by scoring 606 points. Next to him was Ed Cordova with 596 points. Nards Hassan, Joel Nidoy, Jack Jarin and Manny Tibay submitted 557, 527, 515 and 513. Ball Mixers and Cool Change Reload scored 14 and 12 points respectively. Leo Edejer and Rene Nanding Siasoco led in Ball Mixers by carding separate series of 629 and 596 while on top in Cool Change Reload were Rene Martinez (597) and Zaldy Bacero (588).
