Strikers overall champions

Strikers claimed the over all championship in the recently concluded All Filipino Dammam-Khobar Sports and Cultural Association (ALFIDASCA)-Tenpin Bowlers Association 11th Season Quadro Mixed League held at the Algosaibi Sports Center.
The champion team, captained by Edwin Aquino, bested eleven teams in the long-running bowling tournament participated by leading bowlers in the region. The participating teams were KFMMC, MECCS, Tambuli, Big Brothers Dudes, Strikers, Aces, Gee N Bees, X-Treme Bowlers, Pamilya Thoqbah, Cardinals, Simply Perfect, and Gawad Kalinga. Over 130 bowlers took part in the competition.
The members of the Strikers team included Felix Doleguez (assistant team captain), Mon Vistada, Boullet Lucas, Teng Avila, Pete Ante, Rey de la Cruz, Edd Abella, Anne Vistada, Ayeth Aranas, and Edith Aquino.
The Simply Perfect team, led by Tony Castro, took the first runner-up position, while Big Brothers Dudes, headed by Dani Rioflorido, emerged second runner-up.
Special awards were also given in two categories - the individual high game and the individual high series. In the individual high game, Johit Gahol, assistant team captain of KFMMC, took the award in the men's division with 295 pins. Joy Castro of the Simply Perfect team clinched the award in the ladies division with 269 pins. The team high game award went to the X-Treme Bowlers with a total of 935 pins.
In the individual high series game, Boy Tuazon of Simply Perfect took the men's trophy with 730 pins, while Stephanie Peralta of KFMMC scored 689 pins to win the ladies division. The team high series champion was awarded to the Strikers.
Three category awards were also given in the ALFIDASCA fun game competition. In the No Tap category, the winners were Zay Pineda (first place) and Edith Aquino (second). The Moonlight category winners were Ronald Pineda (first) and Pete Ante (second).
The winners in the Scotch Double category were Rudy Magpoc and Zay Pineda who took first place, while Lito Domingo and Soxy dela Cruz settled in the second place.
Cris Dulatre of MECSS and Saudi Aramco was declared male bowler of the 11th Quadro Mixed League Season, while Ayeth Aranas of Strikers emerged female bowler of the event. __
