MAKKAH — Umrah pilgrims are visiting the Grand Mosque Library, which contains a number of rare books and manuscripts. A supervisor in the library said the library receives around 50 visitors a day during Ramadan to view these rare books and manuscripts, in addition to the audio library. He explained that the library has a special section for visitors with special needs in addition to a photocopying service. He pointed out that the library contains very rare books that date back to the second Hijri century and has an electronic section to allow visitors to search for books and manuscripts.
