Majal Servicemasters, Saudi Archirodon (Sarco), Saudi Binladen Group (RPD) and Saudi Oger have qualified from Group of the Enjaz-Western Union Basketball Tournament which is organized by FBA at the Sports Village Hall here. The other early contenders are Movenpick Al-Nawras Resort, CTS & SMP and Danube/Snickers from Group B and Hanco Maintenance (5-0), Gulf Express and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) from Group B. Other teams are still fighting it out for the fourth slot in Group B and C. The sponsors of the event are Enjaz (the remittance services of Bank Albilad) and Western Union Money Transfer, Al-Hussaini Investment Group (Seiko), Samsung Electronics (UMG), Royal Brunei, Giordano Fashions, CDC Holdings, Sky Freight Forwarders, Al-Zafer Cargo, Ay Sarap & La Paz Batchoy Restaurants, Gano Excel Health Products, Edmarks and Amoudi Almesari Tailoring. Team standing: Bona fide Group A - Al-Majal Servicemasters (3-1) 7 points, Sarco Shoaiba A (3-1) 7, Saudi Binladen Group - RPD (3-1) 6 and Saudi Oger Jeddah (1-3) 5. As a result, Al-Majal will face Saudi Oger in a knockout game next Friday for the semis while Saudi Archirodon Shoaiba will tangle with SBG-RPD. The championship matches and awarding ceremony is slated on Nov. 14. Eight games are played every Friday from 10:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M.
