SPLA stays on top

FMBL 6th Conference at the Bowling City, Raffy Masiglat wowed spectators during the match between Saudia Prime Lane Armors and Bowling City Is Fun.
Masiglat at his peak averaging 213 scratch rolled 206, 227 and 219 for 652 overall total output. His impressive crack for landslide win for his team was recognized with the Male Bowler of the Week award and his team won the Team of the Week honor after many attempts. The win helped Armors hold firmly onto top spot and gave no gained points to rival. The pair of Rey del Rosario and team skipper Oliver Malicsi assisted Masiglat in giving clean sweep with above par 609 and 580 total series respectively. Nurissa Ramos shared 523 tpf while Archie Santos and Melvin Lising contributed just fair games. The result tallied at 2,945-2,684 in favor of the leader.
Bowlers of the week will receive Kanny Milk Powder from Nesma Trading Co. Ltd.
Guided by Rommel Marasigan's games of 170, 204 and 260 (634 total series) and Cesar Paran's 628 tpf, The Champ-Poy was not giving up challenge to the stake spot. Marasigan and Paran combined strength to whip Golden Saba with Jay Bengco's superior performance reached to 213 scratch. In Game 1, while Golden Saba excelled in scratch and total w/hdcp, The Champ-Poy struggled but the latter reversed the pace and emerged as winner 16-4. Jimmy Leonida shouldered most of the whippings with 580 output.
Cobra team continued to improve standing by toppling champion Micah's Pride. The Saudis accumulated 2,830 total output against the Santoc's 2,645. It was tight game in first and second but Cobra's break away in the third game put the same in the winning column.
Waraynon Habagat outsmarted Rey Feliciano's Fireball Team garnering 2,755 overall points while the latter has only 2,603 for a 16-4 card. Imelda Sayago produced 181, 204 and 218 and was declared Female Bowler of the Week. Max Salang controlled the offensive attack of Shawly Bowlers on the Terminators with 577 total series. Shawly Bowlers prevailed over the Terminators 16-4. __
