Published in The Saudi Gazette on 01 - 07 - 2014

In celebration of Ramadan and with an aim to satisfy its customers' growing demands, Citymax/Max, the leading value fashion brand, opened its 100th store in Saudi Arabia. The brand's first store was opened at Rowda, in Riyadh in 2004 and its 100th store is now open at Al Roudah Plaza, Hofuf, Dammam.
The brand is now present in 36 towns and cities across the region and plans to expand in many more cities in the next two years. The new store will sell the Max range of ladies wear, children, menswear as well as accessories and home products. The new Citymax/Max store will feature the updated look, design and store layout to enhance the overall customer experience.
Saudi Arabia has witnessed a high growth in consumer spending per capita, which has created the right environment for Citymax/Max to grow in the Kingdom and be a leading player in the value fashion segment. Citymax/Max currently employs 3000 people and its continued growth and expansion in the Kingdom is expected to positively impact the growth in employment and thereby the economy.
“Saudi Arabia is one of our most important markets, as is evident from our investment and rapid expansion in the country. We have opened 100 stores in 10 years in the Kingdom since Citymax/Max's first store in 2004. Each new store location has been carefully selected for high footfalls and ease of shopping. As a regional brand focused on value we are better positioned to understand customer needs and deliver on our brand promise of ‘More Fashion More Value'” said Ramanathan Hariharan, CEO of Citymax/Max.
The latest Summer 2014 collection is now available in store, which includes a huge variety of on-trend ladies wear, menswear and kidswear to choose from. Citymax/Max Fashions is part of Landmark Group, one of the largest retail conglomerates in the Middle East and India.
