The Alaska Aces sent the Barangay Ginebra Kings tumbling to the bottom of the standings with a 93-84 win in overtime Sunday night in the KFC PBA Philippine Cup. The victory also enabled Alaska to tie idle San Miguel at the top of the chart, both with 5-2 win-loss slate. Willie Miller keyed the Aces triumph as he scored six of his 25 points in the extra period after the game ended at 79-all in regulation. Both Alaska and Ginebra had a chance to win the game late in the fourth quarter, but they muffed their chances. After his first free throw tied the game at 79 with 10 seconds left in the fourth, Miller missed his second. After Ginebra rebounded the ball, Erik Menk had the chance to win the game for his team but his shot on the drive was blocked by Sonny Thoss. Still missing the services of Mark Caguioa (knee injury), Rafi Reavis (shoulder), Junthy Valenzuela (knee) and Billy Mamaril (knee), the Kings suffered their fourth loss in six games. In the first game of the double-header played at the Araneta Coliseum, Coca-Cola stopped the rampaging Red Bull Barakos, 97-92, to hand interim head coach Kenneth Duremdes his second straight victory and third overall for the Tigers against four losses. The win sent Coca-Cola in a five-team logjam in the middle of the standings in the company of Talk N Text, Purefoods, Air 21 and Red Bull, all with a 3-4 slate. Cokes stratospheric frontline of Asi Taulava, Nic Belasco and Mark Telan keyed the victory as they combined for 42 points and 28 rebounds, better than Red Bull's 29-20 output. Trailing 29-25 after the first quarter, the Tigers went on a 35-18 tear n the second to take a 60-47 lead. Taulava top-scored with 17 points, Belasco had 15 points and nine rebounds, while Telan added nine points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers who out-rebounded the Barakos 60-43. __
