DUBAI – Under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Emirates Foundation, the Emirates Award for Arabian Gulf Youth is inviting entrees for a social business competition that aims to unlock the creativity of the GCC region's youth to solve the challenges facing society through the creation of a social enterprise. The entrees in video format, which can be from individuals or teams, must be submitted between June 24 and October 1. The three winning ideas will be announced at the Awards event which will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 18, 2014. Tapping into the dynamism of 21st century youth and their appetite for new ideas, Emirates Foundation seeks to support youth initiatives that can create real and sustainable social change.
Emirates Foundation is committed to supporting the energy of youth to transform societies, communities and economies through new ways of thinking.
