With reference to the article “SAMA to monitor accounts of expats” by Muhammad Al-Misbahi (June 21), Tasatur, a business licensed under the name of a citizen and run by an expat, is a cancer that has to be stopped and I think the measures are good. But a special website and phone numbers have to be provided so that such businesses can be reported to the authorities. All steps to stop tasatur are good and needed for our country's betterment.
Anonymous, Online response II. It's great news, a new horizon to stop illegal activities and money transfer. It should be praised by all. Ali, Online response III. The article says “there will be an advanced level of coordination with the authorities issuing business licenses and manpower visas. Owners of establishments will be asked to present Saudization certificates from the Ministry of Labor before getting their licenses renewed.” Why cant they check the Saudization status of the establishment from the database?” One can only wonder what “advanced level of coordination” meant.
