Syed Mussarat Khalil Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Pakistani delegation — senators Mushahid Hussain Syed, Najma Hameed, Farhatullah Baber, scholars including Dr. Allama Mohammed Hussain Akber, founder and chief patron Idarah Minhaj-ul-Hussain, Allama Syed Fakher Hasan Al-karavi and Qazi Syed Niyaz Hussain Naqvi, Vice Chancellor Jamia-tul-Muntazir — from Lahore visited the Kingdom on an invitation extended by the President of the Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh. Pakistan Consul General Aftab Ahmed Khokher hosted a dinner in honor of the members of delegation Friday at his residence. Deputy Consul General Imran Siddiqui, Consular Welfare Tahseemul Haq Haqqi, Consular Coordination Nazer Gul, Consular Head of Visa Section Majid Ali Awan, Consular Press Sohail Ali Khan, and a number of distinguished figures from Saudi and Pakistani community along with members of the Pakistan Journalist Forum were present on the occasion. President of Nazaria Pakistan (Ideology of Pakistan) Forum Masood Puri and ladies wing in-charge Safia Ishaq honored the member of the delegation by presenting them with plaque. Khokher welcomed the gifts and gave a brief outline of the delegation's mission and activities. The leader of the delegation, Mushahid Hussain Syed, said: “This is a first of its kind delegation comprising senators and scholars representing diversity of the Pakistani society both politically and otherwise also. We had very good meeting with the head of the Shoura Council, Saudi friends and brothers.” He added: “During this visit we discussed bilateral relations, political and parliamentary, outlook of the region and common issues.” He thanked the hospitality of Khokher, his staff and all other guests.
