An African butcher stabbed his neighbor to death in Wadi Jalil District here on Saturday. “The victim used to threaten the butcher to have him deported from the country. He even called the Passports Department several times on the issue. The African butcher was increasingly incensed at the victim's aggressive attitude which led to the crime,” said Abdulmohsen Al-Maiman , spokesman of Makkah Police. The butcher and the neighbor had a verbal spat on the morning of the crime,” added Al-Maiman. “The spat became violent and they both began beating each other,” he said. In a fit of anger, the butcher stabbed the victim eight times, said Al-Maiman. Police have arrested the murderer. – SG __
