JEDDAH — Hats off to the children of HOPE. After three years of sustained discipline and practice the taekwondo students of HOPE, a life skill center catering to special needs children, received Blue Belts at a ceremony here recently. The guests of honor were Uzma Raheem, Director; and Erich Schmid, Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Jeddah. The trials were conducted by Master Abdul Rahman Abdul Sattar (Black Belt), chief instructor and the examiner. Demo kicks, nanchaku, fight, speed kicking, self defense techniques were part of the program. — SG
