Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzak has been reported for a suspect bowling action after the drawn second Test against New Zealand, the International Cricket Council said on Thursday. Umpires Daryl Harper and Asoka de Silva said they had concerns over the left-arm spinner's faster ball and decided it was appropriate that the delivery be scrutinized further after monitoring it during the two-Test series won 1-0 by New Zealand. “Razzak was reported by umpires Daryl Harper of Australia and Asoka de Silva of Sri Lanka after the second Test which finished in Dhaka on Wednesday,” the ICC statement said. Razzak is required to submit an independent analysis of his action by a member of the ICC's panel of human movement specialists under the authority's bowling review and can continue to play until the study in done. Razzak will be suspended from bowling that particular delivery in international cricket with immediate effect if found to have been bowling with an illegal action. If his action itself is proved suspect during the analysis, he faces a ban and will have to undertake remedial measures. The 26-year-old has taken seven wickets in five Test matches and has claimed 110 victims in 79 One-Day Internationals. Folkes joins Windies Former Australian National Rugby League coach Steve Folkes has become the strength and conditioning coach for the West Indies cricket team, reports said in Sydney Thursday. Folkes, who recently parted company with the Canterbury Bulldogs after 10 years as their head coach, has taken on the Caribbean job in a short-term deal to next May. But should the partnership with the West Indies succeed, he will be offered a contract extension that could see him return to Australia in December next year for a Test and one-day series against Ricky Ponting's side, reports said. The retired Canterbury premiership-winning forward's friendship with the West Indies' Australian coach John Dyson, who once worked together as school teachers, assisted in the negotiating process. Folkes will leave for Abu Dhabi next week for three One-Day Internationals between the Windies and Pakistan in the UAE.
