NEW YORK — A space cadet paid USD 1 million to go to the moon with Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio. The Wolf of Wall Street star offered the adventure at the star-studded amfAR gala and auction in Cannes, reported the New York Daily News. amfAR is an international nonprofit group that supports AIDS research. It is yet not revealed who won the bidding war to blast off into orbit next year with the actor. It was the second year that Leonardo DiCaprio put up a space trip for the auction. Last year, Russian real estate mogul Vasily Klyukin paid USD 1.5 million to explore the final frontier with Leonardo on Virgin Galactic's SpaceshipTwo. — PTI
