The Kingdom was in the process of erecting a fence along its border with Iraq to prevent infiltration from Saudi Arabia into Iraq, Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Interior Minister, said here on Tuesday night. He said infiltration cases into Iraq from Saudi Arabia are rare, but the government was not taking any chances and was determined to stop the practice altogether. Prince Naif was speaking to the press after inaugurating the first national campaign to enlighten people on food safety, organized by the General Authority for Food and Drugs. Prince Naif said that the Kingdom has approached Iraq for extradition of Saudi detainees there for investigations in the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. On the trial of those involved in terrorist cases, Prince Naif said the Islamic judicial system was the fairest of all. “I am sure,” Prince Naif said “that our judges fear none but God Almighty and the rule of law based on the principals of the Holy Qur'an.” Prince Naif reiterated that whoever was found innocent will be set free and whoever pleads guilty will receive a tough punishment so as to deter others from committing the same crimes. Earlier, addressing the conference, Prince Naif, who is also member of the commission's board of directors, said that the Saudi government has formed specialized committees to monitor epidemic poisoning cases, examine the reasons behind the phenomenon, try to contain it and punish those responsible for collective poisoning. __
