Over 100 security specialists from various ministries including interior and justice from 13 Arab countries took part in a symposium on terror and human rights here on Monday. Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Saqr Al-Ghamdi, Rector of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences attended the three-day event organized by the university's Studies and Research Center. Dr. Abdur Rahman Bin Ibrahim Al-Sha'er, Dean of the university's Studies and Research Center reviewed the symposium of the agenda. He also highlighted the accomplishments of the center in organizing scientific symposia, conferences and studies. The symposium's scientific supervisor, Dr. Muhammad Al-Madani Bousaq, dealt with the dangers of crimes related with terrorism on human rights. Dr. Al-Ghamdi said the two important subjects – terrorism and human rights – can be dealt with effectively with the participation of Arab and European experts. Human rights in the Islamic law (Shariah) and the secular law will be reviewed at the symposium, he said.
