Tournament host Sergio Garcia takes a four-shot lead into Sunday's Castello Masters final round on his home Castellon course, looking for his first European Tour title for more than three years. A stunning front nine with five birdies, four in succession including a chip-in from a bunker, helped the 28-year-old Spaniard to record a five-under 66 and left him firmly in control on 16-under-par 197. Four players share second spot on 12 under - Britons David Lynn (68) and Simon Dyson (68), Swede Peter Hedblom (68) and Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen (70). Garcia was delighted with his front-nine assault but admitted nerves had taken over after the turn. Lynn, Hedblom and Dyson are all playing for places in next week's lucrative season-ending Volvo Masters. Double US Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal was encouraged by his run of four birdies in five holes after the turn as he compiled his best three-round total for two years with a 67 that took him eight under and into 13th place. However, the 42-year-old Spaniard, recovering from a 2007 season blighted by rheumatism, said he still had a long way to go to get back to the standard that he hoped would earn him a 2010 Ryder Cup place. Stupples takes lead England's Karen Stupples struck a 67 to take a two-shot lead from American Laura Diaz after a rain-interrupted second round of the inaugural Grand China Air LPGA Saturday. Stupples' score was the equal low round of the day for a 36-hole total of 10-under-par 134. Diaz fired a one-over 73, coming after her course-record 63 on Friday which gave her the round one lead, with Sweden's Louise Friberg (69) another shot back in outright third. Three players, South Korea's Ahn Shi Hyun (68), Candie Kung of Taiwan (69) and Christina Kim of the United States (68), share fourth at six-under 138. Stupples, who was joint third overnight, made an excellent start with four birdies in the opening seven holes to race up the leaderboard and challenge Diaz. Then the Englishwoman, twice an LPGA winner, finished by rolling her lob wedge from the greenside rough at 18 straight into the centre of the cup for a closing birdie and the lead was hers. Among the big names, Sweden's Helen Alfredsson was tied seventh at five-under 139, world number two Annika Sorenstam was equal 19th on 142 and Suzann Pettersen was on 145.
