The World Assembly of Muslim Youth on Saturday handed over emergency relief for Somali refugees living in miserable conditions and facing a difficult weather situation at the Kenyan border. The relief comes in continuation of WAMY's role to provide relief and facilitate humanitarian works in Somalia and other regions of the world. OIC Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs, Ambassador Atta Mannan Bakhit, expressed thanks and appreciation for the role played by WAMY in assisting the Somali refugees.
