Two different issues This is in response to the article “Saudi woman responsible for half a citizen?” in Saudi Gazette on April 20. Why are people trying to bring up the issue of expats getting citizenship when talking about Saudi women and citizenship for their children? Saudi women are not in the same category because they are citizens first, and have rights by birth. Expats are immigrants going to Saudi Arabia for work who stay there for years.
