3.8 million pilgrims arrive for Umrah

JEDDAH — The Haj Ministry said that there was no crowding in the Kingdom's land, sea and airports during arrival and departure in the Umrah season this year. It said more than 3,800,000 Umrah performers arrived through 16 land, sea and air since the announcement of Umrah season in Safar, 1435H, SPA said, adding 3,366,531 Umrah pilgrims had already left the Kingdom.
Dr. Bandar Bin Mohammed Hajjar, minister of Haj, said that the ministry has been able to monitor pilgrims electronically. — SG
