I am Saudi and I am not racist. However, I guess it is a question of adopting the culture. Most foreigners who live in the Kingdom do not adopt the Saudi culture no matter how long they spend here. They would rather create their own ghetto and import their own customs and habits which are odd to Saudis. They don't speak Arabic well and they are not willing to try to learn it properly. They don't integrate with Saudis. I do agree that there is racism in society. However, it comes from both sides - Saudis and expats! Muhammed Ben Almahboub You are right, not all foreigners get accustomed to the culture and not all are perfect in Arabic. There are many who still love the land that they came from. However, there are also people who love this country, whose children have been born here and who have lived their lives here getting accustomed to Saudi culture. The “naturalization system” can be changed in a way in which they test the candidate applying for citizenship and then they can know who really deserves to be a part of the Kingdom. Tariq Khan Does Saudi Arabia want to embrace expats like countries in the West? If yes, then expect expats to embrace Saudi Arabia. If no, then expect expats to live in their own ghettos. Remember, expats did not grow here on trees; they were invited with visas issued from the government. It is time to stop being xenophobic and create a progressive culture. Mazher Khan
