JEDDAH – For the third year in a row, SEDCO Holding Group will proudly celebrate Earth Hour by switching off its lights for an hour on March 29th between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., in the hopes of spreading a message to raise awareness for the planet's environmental well being. SEDCO Holding Group and its sub-companies will switch off their lights to underline their commitment to the cause and their support to the millions of people respecting the initiative. Anees Moumina, CEO of SEDCO Holding Group, said: “The world is currently facing the effects of climate change due to deforestation and an increased consumption of energy resources. These have not only affected the environment but also human beings around the world and certain solutions must be developed in order to tackle this issue.” He further said “we are proud to take part in this global initiative promoting environmental awareness, as it is our duty to preserve our resources, better the future for the upcoming generations, and service our country in all means possible.
