The tandem of Doy del Moral and Rene Clemente, playing with Double “B” team and Zaldy Torres wearing the jerseys of Conor Express Cargo finished ahead of other top contenders to emerge as the champions in the doubles and singles events categories in the FBGR Ramadan Eid Get-Together Bowlfest'08 held at the InterCon Riyadh Hotel Bowling Center. The major sponsor of the event was the Treasure Island - Al-Nawakhz Est. while the co-sponsor were the Sky Freight Forwarders, GROHE AG, NADEC, McDonald's, ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC), SAMBA, Fuji Elevators, Orbit Pinoy Plus, Laguna Lakers Cargo Forwarders, Formula 3, The Manila Bistro Asean Cuisine Restaurant, Mitsubishi Elevators and the InterContinental Riyadh Hotel. Del Moral and Clemente posted combined series of 1,552 points to bag the doubles event. Del Moral had 788 points while Clemente scored 764. Landing in second place were Jojo Paciano and Wilson Bacala who submitted combined series of 1,536 points. Paciano scored 774 points while Bacala downed 764. Occupying the third place were Gerard Austria and Chito Llagas. A combined series of 1,527 points were recorded by Austria and Llagas. Austria toppled 810 points while Llagas sealed 717. Del Moral-Clemente pair won a cash prize of SR800 plus individual trophies while the pair of Paciano and Bacala pocketed SR600 and individual trophies.
