Dr. Mohammad Shawoush, General Supervisor of Al-Amal Hospital, said the facility treated 100 women for drug addiction last year, despite not having a female ward. “We need clinics and an expansion of innovative treatment programs in Jeddah, instead of sending addicts elsewhere,” Dr. Shawoush said.
