The trial of those belonging to the cells of the deviant group was important for realization of justice for the families of those detained and the kin of the victims, Sheikh Salih Aal Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, said on Wednesday. The minister lauded the comprehensive statement made by Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Interior Minister, announcing the beginning of the trial of terror suspects. Prince Naif, on Monday, elaborated that the Kingdom was a target for an organized terror campaign aimed at undermining the country's way of life and economy. The Minister of Islamic Affairs hailed Prince Naif's statement which underlined that the unjust deviant campaign targeted the Kingdom which rules by the law of Almighty Allah and contains the holy sites, SPA said. The minister said the trial underlines the integrity of the judiciary in the Kingdom. It was important, he said, all groups of the society should unitedly confront the deviant thoughts. The minister stressed the importance of spreading awareness and moderation among the youths and called for “adoption of moderation because Islam is based on moderation.” He also asked the mosques to carry out their role in confronting sedition and called for obeying, advising and cooperating with the ruler of the country. __
