US President George W. Bush will host world leaders on Nov. 15 to discuss the financial crisis and brainstorm on how to prevent another meltdown, the White House said on Wednesday. The leaders will discuss progress in addressing the crisis, analyze its underlying causes, set principles for reforms and instruct working groups to begin developing recommendations for those solutions, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said. Analysts said the the meeting – 11 days after the US presidential election – could give Bush, whose opinion poll numbers at home are near historic lows and his popularity overseas even lower, one of his last chances to stay relevant in his final weeks in office. The meeting will be the first in a series of summits involving G20 leaders
