NEW DELHI — The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after accusing the media of not exposing the truth about Gujarat's development model plans to release video footage including farmers' testimonials, documents and other details on its website to focus on the poor state of health and education facilities and violation of environment and land acquisition norms in the state. These videos were prepared by AAP volunteers after touring 26 districts in Gujarat. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Dilip Pandey too had traveled to several villages over a period of three days between March 5-8. Kejriwal later accused the BJP's prime ministerial candidate of misleading people into believing that life in his state is “perfect.” “We plan to upload raw footage that completely exposes Modi's claims of development whether it is environment violation that have destroyed the lives of people in Ankeleshwar region or poor farmers being cheated of their land in Versana village,” Pandey said. He said Gujarat is not an industrial state but a “chemical” one indicating that the people's lives were being shortchanged for industrial growth.
