TRIPOLI — Three rare-breed black camels, believed to have been owned by slain Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, have been flown to the UAE. The three camels were spotted by staff loading a cargo plane operated by UAE airline Emirates, an airport source told the Libya Herald. They are believed to have come from a farm formerly owned by Gaddafi located near the Airport Road, the source said. He added that such rare camels were highly-valued in the Gulf states, and could command high prices. It is not known whether the camels were being sent as a gift or whether they had been purchased. – Libya Herald
