year-old son in a fit of rage during a dispute in the apartment the son was renting after having left his parents' house in Taif. The father said his son had been mixing with bad company but refused to stay away from them, leading to differences between the two and the son deciding to leave home. When the father turned to the police, he was informed of his son's whereabouts and went to the apartment where he found his son in the company of two friends. The father and son had a heated argument that developed into a fight, and ended with the father pulling out a pistol and shooting the son who was trying to flee. The young man died instantly, and his father handed himself in to the police admitting unintentional killing of his son. The body was moved to the morgue and the father was sent to Taif Prison after signing the confession documents.
