The lounge experience has long been interrupted by small doses of distractive efforts pervasive in the nightlife industry.
Siddharta lounge is hyped up to be a signature spot among the glitterati and fashionable spots among Dubai's extensive nightlife options.
Settling by the stardust, you understand. Could a regular evening feel so good? At a price, Siddharta lounge sets the mood for a nostalgic night ahead.
Nostalgia of the perfect kind with indigo and violet lights. A spot to make memories, to make your next favorite spot and a weekend essential, Siddharta makes quite the first impression.
Located in Grosvenor House Dubai, Siddharta is a first of its kind and reports say more are to come worldwide. An infusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, Siddharta is that ideal spot to get away albeit with friends to relax and unwind on the weekend before it becomes a hazy memory on Monday.
Their drinks and sheesha are specially catered to the Arab taste and breezy evenings. Styled casually with cushions and stairs that lead to their outdoor pool, Siddharta stays true to its free spirit.
Indoors, however, reveals a different scene with the lavish settings in white and gold. This is when you have to step up your game. The interior's glamour makes it the ideal playground for the glamorous socialites.
Begin with the vegetable samosa with mint chutney to kick-start your senses. You can complement it with their serving of spicy crab, green papaya with pineapple dressing and roasted peanuts and the beef tataki, watermelon that comes with feta cheese cherry tomatoes. Try the crispy fried calamari and vegetable spring roll with sweet chilli coriander sauce for starters.
Or if you are a fan of cous cous, try it as a starter with spicy prawn flavored with saffron and mint. The fine selection of starters includes goat cheese, fresh figs, balsamic reduction and pistachio. Remember the portions are small, so you may need to order more to satisfy your guest and appetite.
Even the smoked duck served with caramelized and roasted pears is light and the sirloin steak, teriyaki sauce with sauté mushrooms further stimulates your taste buds. The menu compromises of healthy and gratifying choices that offer balanced flavors of extravagance.
Their menu includes tapas, pizzas, pastas, mini burgers with crispy vegetable and Guacamole. If you are around for a light meal definitely try the Corn Fed Chicken, Crab Cakes or the Wagyu beef for a richer experience.
But at the end of the journey, we all seek happiness, which luckily is served at Siddharta's dessert station. Make sure you have room for dessert. Be it with green tea or your preferred beverage that goes with scrumptious mango cheesecake or chocolate sesame bar and coffee cream brulee served with vanilla ice cream.
But if you are around just for coffee and sheesha, try their berries tiramisu packed with rich coffee and cream texture, not too sweet, served with light delicious warmth layered with berries. So go ahead and treat yourselves to a bowl of heaven or an evening with friends that will not disappoint.
A night at Siddharta is a relief but quite a contrast with routine affairs with no extraordinary features. The sultry aura at Siddharta lures you into an exceptional evening with high service standards, unique beverages served against the beats of European and contemporary musical sensations. What else could you ask for?
