Eraserheads, Ritual share awards

Eraserheads continued their winning streak to bag back-to-back Team of the Week awards while Noli Ritual of Five vs. Five rocked lanes to claim the Bowler of the Week honor on the 27th week of the FBGR-Almarai Thursday Bowling League, 7th Conference at the InterCon Riyadh Hotel Bowling Center.
Eraserheads emerged as best team by dismantling Five vs. Five, 20-4. Unstoppable Ronald Bautista together with Andro Tismo, Zaldy Torres and Willy Nogoy powered Eraserheads by posting separate series of 874, 787, 770 and 717 respectively. Bautista scored a game-high 246 while Tismo had a game-high 222. Merlin Calooy and team mentor Arnel Gordovez chipped in separate series of 360 and 328 in two games. Eraserhead's astounding win put them on top.
Bowler of the Week Ritual fired 871 points to lead in Five vs. Five and he was followed by Larry Mondoy (731), Edwin Nunez (693), Louie Laguardia (652) and Mario Rivera (612).
LHC quintet pulverized Itaktak Mo in straight four games, 12-0 through the devastating Ben Torrefiel (755), Ruben Tan (697), Sonny Alviso (658), Arnold Salcedo (623) and Sydney Kawi (607). Itaktak Mo submitted a total team series handicap of 3,070 points.
Fuji Elevators through the awesome performances of Chito Llagas and Gerard Austria dumped Almarai Company, 12-4. Llagas and Austria scored separate series of 783 and 711. The next best scorers were Boy Mirando (509), Edgar Buenaventura (487), Ruel Toledo (345), Wilson Bacala (329) and Thong Asuncion (314).
Marlon Pagulayan and Jun Daniel rolled 741 and 708 series in four games to lead in Almarai while Romy Cabrillas downed 645 points. Jonathan Banayag poured 525 points and Leo Ceballos had 442.
Gran Matador recorded an 11-7 win against Orbit Pinoy Plus. Fareed Aquino poured 772 points. Rico Feria and Jojo Paciano knocked down 727 and 711 while Rene Feranco snatched 650 points. Pete Tampos and Emer Bacud toppled 370 and 335 points respectively.
Ben Valdez was on top in Orbit Pinoy Plus by posting 735 points. Resty de Jesus and Yusof Fernandez drilled in 671 and 641 to follow Valdez while Nelons Respicio, AJ Bonifacio and Pastor Rodel Canda submitted 346, 335 and 302.
On lanes 9 and 10, Stesa-Thales nipped Saudi British Bank, 10-7 and saw Marvin Arocena topscore in Stesa with 770 points. Nelson de Vera and Boni Manalang rolled 535 and 488 points.
Leading scorer in Saudi British Bank was Leo Mabunga with 668 points. He was followed by Betsy Costumbrado (681), Jun Jabonero (541) Victor Edan (476) and Jun Bantug (444).
Take All prevailed over Alsalam Aircraft, 9-6 with Leody Ersando topscoring in Take All by carding a series of 754. Cynthia Bacala was next with 719 points.
Cas Encila and Efren Abuyo pocketed 681 and 630 points to topscore in Alsalam Aircraft while Donjie Mapalad and Yasser Mohamed contributed 574 and 508. Benjie Valderama shot 343 points. __
