The Ministry of Justice will recall 40 of its judges currently working with the Court of Grievances to work in its courts after the completion of the new judiciary implementation, said Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Suailim, head of control department at the Court of Grievances. The Court of Grievances will go back to its original job description of handling administrative judiciary in view of the new judiciary structure. Commercial and penal cases will go back to the Ministry of Justice. A new council of administrative judiciary, equal to the Supreme Judicial Council, will be formed to look into administrative appeal cases of the defendants. Last year, the Kingdom announced an overhaul of its judicial system, including the allocation of about SR8 billion for training judges and building new courts. – Okaz __
