DAMMAM – The nursing supervisor in the medical programs in Al-Qatif, Naima Al-Abdul Rabb Al-Ali, said old people who do not have anyone to care for them have the right to ask the government to pay the salaries of workers assisting them. She said this is part of medical services provided by the state to the elderly people. She drew attention of the public to a mechanism for communicating with the “Ihsan” program for the care of the elderly, which was set up by the women's committee in Al-Bir Charitable Society in Sanabis in the Eastern Province. Twenty-three women are participating in the home care program under the motto “Toward securing a decent life for them.” The program started five years ago.
