The international ministerial conference held on Saturday in the capital of Kazakhstan under the title “Common World – Progress Through Diversity” voiced its appreciation for the countries and organizations participating in the Madrid conference initiated by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In a final communique, the conference also welcomed the convening of an extraordinary high-level session to be held by the United Nations General Assembly next month to extend support for the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Dr. Nizar Bin Obeid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, led the Saudi delegation to the Astana conference.
