As the mystery over the burning to death of six members of a Muslim family in Vatoli village of Adilabad district remains unsolved, the state government has announced a reward of Rs one million to any body who provides information about the culprits. The announcement came even as a high level police team headed by the additional director general of police, law and order A K Khan and additional DGP, CB CID is camping in Bhainsa supervising the investigations. Six special teams have also been formed to probe the incident, which is generally being seen a continuation of the communal violence in Bhainsa town and surrounding areas. The family of Mahboob Khan, including his three grand children was found charred to death in their burnt house in Vatoli village in the wee hours of Sunday. The Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy during his visit to the village on Thursday handed over the cheques of Rs 30 lakhs to the survivors of the family. Meanwhile, the indefinite curfew continued for the 8th day today in Bhainsa. Only women were allowed to come out for two hours in the morning to fetch water, ration and other essential commodities. The police officials indicated that the curfew was likely to continue till Monday in Bhainsa. The state home minister K Jana Reddy has meanwhile continued his flip flap over various issues related to Bhainsa and Vatoli incident. The home minister who had earlier told the media that no body was killed in Bhainsa in police firing, now did an about turn and admitted that the bullet injuries were found on the dead bodies. He said that a preliminary forensic report was submitted to him by the local police officials. But not satisfied with it, he returned it and asked the DGP SSP Yadav to get a fresh report after detailed investigations at the high level. The Home Minister said that a clear picture about the cause of the death of the four persons in Bhainsa will emerge only after the fresh report is submitted in fifteen days. The Home Minister also tied himself in the knot over the Vatoli killing. He strongly denied the reports that he had ever called the incident a result of short circuit. But at the same time he refused to accept it as a case of murder saying he can not say any thing till the investigations were completed. When asked why the police registered a case of murder under section 302 in connection with Vatoli incident, the home minister said it can be changed if the investigations did not prove it to be a case of murder. __
