The United Arab Emirates won the cup of the 4th Arab Bowling Championship which concluded on Friday at the Universal Bowling Center(UBC)in Riyadh. On behalf of Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, President, General Presidency of Youth Welfare (GPYW), Prince Abdul Hakaim Bin Mesae'd, Supervisor General of UBC, presented the cup and the gold medals to UAE team which collected 3 gold, two silver and two bronze medals while Bahrain finished in the fourth spot with one silver and a bronze. Qatar came second in the overall ranking with two gold, two silver and a bronze while Kuwait which had a gold, a silver and two bronze medals finished third. The final round of the competition was dominated by Qatar which won the first three places in masters category. Qatar's Saaed Al-Hajri topped masters table to take the cup and the gold medal. Bandar Al-Shafi and Abdullah Al-Qatan of Qatar came second and third respectively. Bahraini Ahmed Al-Bisti and Salem Al-Hajras of Kuwait also were honored as they earlier recorded the perfect 300 score. Shaker Ali of UAE topped the players ranking as he had a total of 5,252 points while his teammate Naif Eqab came second with 5,189. The third place went to Kuwaiti Khaled Al-Dibyan (5,044). __
