JEDDAH — A municipality source said the Jeddah governor has directed the local authority to stop illegal car washers from operating outside shopping centers, Al-Eqtisadiah daily reported. He added the municipality would fine violators SR200 to SR1,000. Meanwhile, a committee comprising representatives of the Passport Department and the traffic police in Makkah has fined every illegal resident washing cars in public SR150. This amount will double if not paid within one month.
