Three doctors fined SR752,000

MADINAH — Medical commissions in Madinah have fined three doctors working for private medical institutions for committing medical errors. Two doctors were fined SR310,000 each while the third one was ordered to pay SR105,000. The money will go to the patients who suffered as a result of the doctors' errors. Madinah Health Affairs Director Dr. Abdullah Taifi warned that any healthcare professional who makes a medical error because of negligence would be held accountable.
