EU chief due on Monday

Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, is scheduled to arrive in the Kingdom Monday as part of a two-day tour of the Gulf and Syria. Solana is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal to discuss regional developments, the Mideast peace process, the situation in Lebanon and Saudi-European relations. European Union's foreign policy chief is also scheduled to visit Abu Dhabi, Doha and Damascus. – Okaz __
