Spurs hold off Jazz

NEW YORK — Point guard Tony Parker had 25 points and nine assists as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Utah Jazz 109-105 Wednesday.
All Spurs starters scored in double figures as San Antonio (31-8) got its sixth straight win.
Utah (13-27) was without leading scorer Gordon Hayward, who missed his third straight game with a left hip flexor. The Jazz were led by center Enes Kanter, who had 25 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.
Wizards 114, Heat 97
John Wall paced seven double figure scorers with 25 points as the Washington Wizards opened up a 34-point first half lead and crushed the Miami Heat.
The Wizards (18-19) entered the game with a 1-14 record versus teams with winning records, but they blasted the two-time defending champions.
LeBron James scored 25 for the Heat (27-11), who have lost three straight games in regular season play for the first time since Jan. 13 2012.
Heat center Greg Oden played nine minutes and had six points in his first NBA game since December 5, 2009.
Rockets 103, Pelicans 100
Houston guard James Harden exploded for 18 of his team-high 26 points in the second half, including eight of his team's final 11 points, to lift the Rockets to a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Rockets (26-14) outscored the Pelicans 11-1 in the final 2:50, erasing a 10-point New Orleans lead, sending the Pelicans (15-23) to their seventh consecutive loss. Eric Gordon scored a season-high 35 points for the Pelicans.
Kings 111, Timberwolves 108
Rudy Gay scored a season-high 33 points, including a three-pointer with 19.5 seconds left, to send the Sacramento Kings past the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Isiah Thomas scored 26 points and center DeMarcus Cousins added 20. Sacramento (14-23), in control most of the night, held off a late rush by the Timberwolves (18-20), who got 27 points and 11 points from forward Kevin Love.
76ers 95, Bobcats 92
Thaddeus Young hit a three-pointer with 3.2 seconds left as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Charlotte Bobcats to snap a four-game losing streak.
Evan Turner had 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the 76ers (13-25), while Michael Carter-Williams added 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Kemba Walker had 26 points for Charlotte (16-24), which lost for the fourth time in five games.
Grizzlies 82, Bucks 77
Mike Conley and forward James Johnson each scored 15 points as the Memphis Grizzlies won their fourth in a row with a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Bulls 128, Magic 125 (triple OT)
Joakim Noah had 26 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a triple-overtime victory over the Orlando Magic, who lost their ninth consecutive game.
The Bulls (18-19) erased a 15-point second-half deficit to win for the sixth time in the last seven games. Rookie guard Victor Oladipo scored a career-high 35 points and veteran guard Jameer Nelson scored a season-high 31 for the Magic (10-30).
Celtics 88, Raptors 83
Jared Sullinger scored 25 points and pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds as the Boston Celtics snapped a nine-game losing streak.
Clippers 129, Mavericks 127
The Los Angeles Clippers wiped out a 17-point deficit in the final five minutes and earned a victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Trail Blazers 108, Cavaliers 96
LaMarcus Aldridge scored nine straight points as the Portland Trail Blazers finished on a 12-0 run in a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Suns 121, Lakers 114
Gerald Green scored 16 of his 28 points in the third quarter, and the Phoenix Suns used a 9-0 run midway through the fourth quarter to beat the Los Angeles Lakers. — Agencies
